Inauguration of the USG equipment in Government Hospitals in Palghar district

Early diagnosis and treatment helps in evading emergencies during pregnancy and child birth. The Government hospitals in Palghar District felt the need for the installation of sonography machines in the premises. AROEHAN was approached by the hospital authorities for the same. AROEHAN with support from Siemens India Limited and DHFL Changing Lives Foundation helped install 2 USG machines in Palghar Rural Hospital and Mokhada Rural Hospital respectively.

The sonology centre at Palghar rural hospital was inaugurated by Mr. Borikar, CEO- Palghar District and Ms Siddhi Lad, CEO, DHFL Changing Lives Foundation on the 5th of February 2018.

The sonology centre at Mokhada rural Hospital was inaugurated by the Health Minister for State, Dr Deepak Sawant, in the presence of District Collector, Dr Prashant Narnavre, CS, Dr Kanchan Vanere, Head of the Training Department of Siemens Customer Care, Mr Srinivasan and Trustees of AROEHAN on the 2nd of August 2018 in Mokhada.

Inauguration of ‘Jigyaasa Project’-STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics)

As part of the ASHA Project supported by Siemens India Ltd; the Jigyasa Project was launched in 6 Ashram Schools in November 2017. A formal inauguration of the digital room was done by officials from Siemens and Trustees of AROEHAN on the 20th of March 2018. At present 10 Ashram schools in Mokhada have been provided with STEM kits for experimental learning along with laptops for computer aided learning reaching out to 7575 students in the 3rd to 10th Standards.
