Tribal Day Celebrations at Karoli and Sadakwadi

AROEHAN team commemorated the celebration of the tribal day on 9th August 2021. we organized the event in collaboration with ATMA (Agriculture Technology Management Agency) the agriculture department team. Internationa Tribal day is observed worldwide to protect and promote the rights of the indigenous people. Also to raise awareness and build resilience in our indigenous people. The motto of this year’s tribal day celebration is not to leave behind any tribal community and its people and call for a new social contract. The tribal communities are commonly understood as forest-dwelling or people living in the hills. The major tribes nestling in Mokhada and Jawahr are Kokna, Warli, Mahadeo Koli, Malhar Koli Katkari and Thakar.
