29 SHG’s, and more than 52 wild vegetables from all over Mokhada. The vegetables were displayed on the stalls and were open for sale. Also cooked food such as nagali bhakri, various cooked wild vegetables, chutneys were available and open for sale. In the tribal area, there are many types of wild vegetables are available that provide a variety of nutrients. To promote and celebrate the diversity of tribal land, we encouraged local men and women who are members of SHG’s to showcase their natural resources. Also, the event utilized as the platform to discuss the importance of nutrition and inclusion of these valuable vegetables in our everyday diet.
